Kaiser Jokay... need your input here, being track and race-oriented, lad ! ! !   Only 6 votes which is a reminder that this is not a track day-oriented forum.  But still, bikes is bikes no matter what you do with 'em ! .... and this is part of the mix, I've come to find out !  ....

That's not a racetrack!  I might have to change mine to the Blue Ridge Parkway!

I must submit that without the flag men and red/white corner markings, Hwy 2 runs a close second to your fav !  ....

Without the tree laying across the lane would be good too... but what about your favourite tar snakes?

Yeah the 50 mile stretch before the paystation. Actually I typed wrong, I do like trees, not a fan of the ones laying on the road

That was an awesome ride until we got to the tar snakes!  Much like the Blue Ridge Parkway, except the BRP runs along the edge of the mountains.   The road to the North Rim felt a lot safer, not having to worry about riding off of a cliff most of the way.

You wouldnt like the 191 aka 666 in Az then  haulin azz around a corner and all you see is sky..sometimes the tops of huge pine trees. No guardrails...which  I dont really know if its a good or bad thing. Either way yer screwed if ya mess up.

Pacific Coast Highway... especially the section near the origin... guard rails?  Never heard of them.  Road edge=cliff edge.  Just amazing!

You're a very fortunate man, Dutch !   I only know of one person here who is planning on being at IOM, 2012.  He's on another forum.  If I had what it takes to get that done, it's be a no-brainer  !!   Feel free to post up vids & pics if you have 'em.  I (we'd) love to see them  ! ! !   icon_thumright   notworthy

that was 1993 so that meant looking for a cardboard box of photographic prints and scan.............

Through work I met Bob from Maryland who owned a whole lot of Guzzis. He had invited me over in 1992 for a 3 week trip on one of his California's.
1993 was me returning the favour. I rented a XJ900 for him in London so we went on our way.  First to Scotland and then IOM

My ride was a LeMans 1000 at that time  headbang  and I looked much younger then.....

The ferry from Liverpool to Douglas was kinda packed...

The boys are back in town....

aparently, antics at the promenade are no longer allowed these days

(I do have a full frontal picture of the girl but that will earn me an award here for sure.   laughing7

Yer Maun,  a picture scanned up side down, but you can see fog doesnot interfere with free practise...

The road plunges down , at the bottom is a pub and a 90 degree righthander, so there is a wall of sandbags in front of the pub
found on youtube:
At Creg Ny Baa, Isle of Man TT Road Races

2010 crash TT

Man has scenis roads as well, and trusting your driver is crucial

All good things come to an end and on a Guzzi they always will....
turned out later that the ignition key assembly has rotted/coroded  pottytrain5
But then again, there is always Guinness...  headbang
