It isn't actually a new concept.  Bimota has built several models of hub steering bikes.  They have one in the Barber museum.

I only knew about it because I saw one in the Barber museum.

We had a Tesi here in a Ducati store for sale a few years back, saw one somewhere else also. Weird concept that hasn't taken off and probably for a reason, same goes with that BMW front end, notice they dont use it on their 1000RR. James Cameron I believe was the designer of the GTS back in the early 90's and that dude knows what he's doing, again the fact that it never took off must of been either $$ or limitations with the design. Lets see how this moto2 bike does.
